    Washing
  • Walls
  • Windows
  • Floors, etc.
All at reasonable rates!

Yard Maintenance
This service is from Spring to Fall for seniors wishing to have yard work done at a reasonable price. In the Winter months, snow removal can be arranged.

Transportation
This service is provided by volunteers. There is a small charge for local transportation. If the senior needs transportation to the city, then he/she will be asked to cover the cost of the gas and mileage.

Handi Helper
This service is available year round to help seniors find people who can provide home and yard maintenance/repairs at a reasonable cost.

Tele/Check
A daily phone check is done by a volunteer. Hopefully, this will reduce the number of times people are ill or injured in their own dwellings with no one being aware of it.

Shopping Escort
A volunteer will escort a senior on a shopping trip. A senior may be unable to perform some of the tasks that we take for granted, such as carrying parcels or driving to the store.

Friendly Visitor
Each senior is matched with a friendly visitor volunteer who donates one or two hours of their time per week to share hobbies or just talk about every day affairs.

Lifeline (Home Emergency Response System)
This service is for seniors who live alone or who have a potentially disabling  medical condition. It allows them to live independently in their own home.

Congregate Meal
This program lets seniors enjoy a home cooked noon meal up to five times a week (Monday thru Friday). It gives people a chance to assist in food preparation, cleanup and time for socialization. Available in Winnipeg Beach and Gimli.

Meals on Wheels
Together with organizations and volunteers, Meals on Wheels will help the elderly and the disabled remain in their own surroundings, as well as provide good nutritional meals.  These meals are provided in Gimli and Winnipeg Beach on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
