The Seniors' Resource Council offers a variety of services to seniors in the Arborg and surrounding area. Implemented in 1997 when a need was recognized for centralized Senior services, much has been accomplished since that time. Services offered by the Seniors Resource Council include: Congregate meal program, Home Emergency Response Units, Fee for Service Program and Handi-Van services. The Seniors Resource Council also organizes large celebration dinners during the year, in particular at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Age-Friendly Arborg As part of the Age-Friendly Awareness Luncheon held in Arborg on March 31, 2009, individuals from Arborg were asked to complete a brief questionnaire designed to collect information on the age-friendliness of their community. A total of 22 questionnaires were completed; all individuals were from Arborg. This report summarizes the findings from the 22 individuals who completed the Age-Friendly Communities Survey; 27% identified themselves as a senior. See the Questionaire results. 
Arborg Age-Friendly Projects Update- sidewalks have been fixed
- power door locks have been put in place at the medical centre
- the painting of crosswalks have been approved and will be completed this summer.
