The Senior Scene at the Rady Jewish Community Centre is for adults 55 years and older. The program is designed to enhance the quality of life and provide opportunities for maintaining wellness to the older adult through social, cultural educational and fitness programs. Educultural Hour & Kosher LunchPlease join us every Tuesday for our Educultural Hour. Each week, we feature either a guest lecturer who speaks on important and relevant information or a musical guest who presents an entertaining and enjoyable program. Following the program, participants will have the opportunity to stay for our delicious Kosher lunch and socialize with new and old friends. Everyone is welcome!

TransportationOur objective is to ensure that the elderly who are facing difficulties in mobility, are provided with transportation programtyo help meet their individual needs.
Taxi Voucher Program
The Rady JCC is pleased to offer a taxi voucher service for adults 75 years and older who have health restrictions and no personal vehicle. The service is available from November to April of each year. For $2.OO, you can purchase a voucher that is worth $4.00 towards a taxi meter. The maximum number of vouchers allowed per month is eight for single older adults and twelve for couples. All requests will be reviewed for eligibility and all information will be kept confidential. The vouchers are non-refundable.
Van Pick-Up
We can pick up our members to attend our programs. The charge for this door-to-door service is $4.00 return. So please, inquire about our van pick-up service because we would love to help you attend our programs and services.

Blood Pressure ScreeningOn the third Tuesday of every month, there will be blood pressure screening for Stay Young Members. This program has been made available by RealCare. There is no charge for this service.
Stay Young Centre Affiliate Membership FeesThere is an affiliate membership fee of $32.00
for singles and $58.00 for couples, from Sept.1,2002 to August 31,2003
Some classes have an additional charge. All
Rady JCC Senior Members are considered
Stay Young Members.
