What is Seniors and Elders Month? Seniors’ and Elders' Month celebrations have been traditionally held to recognize the accomplishments of Manitoba seniors and the extent to which their valuable contributions have shaped our province. Since 1989, it has been the practice for the Minister responsible for Seniors to officially proclaim Seniors’ and Elders’ Month in Manitoba.
2009 Kick Off EventThursday, Oct.1 at the Franco-Manitoban Cultural Centre at 340 Provencher Boulevard from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The day will include: excellent entertainment, Interactive activities, Intergenerational flavour, information booths, registration kits and draws.
